FAQ’s

As a regulated broker under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we are able to offer businesses the option to become an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR). This then allows you, to provide customers of yours, the finance necessary to purchase their products or services.
Obtaining authorisation from the FCA is generally regarded by businesses as very time consuming and can be tricky to achieve. One of the main reasons for this is because the FCA will not give you guidance on what your company needs to apply for and will tell you that you need to seek legal advice. Once you have worked out what authorisation you need from the FCA you need to apply and wait for a decision. It is likely that it will take 6-12 months before your authorisation is granted and in some cases it will take longer if they need more information from you. Once you have been granted authorisation from the FCA with the right permissions, you will have to pay them fees and compile reports with the information that they require about how your business is trading. Thankfully, you are able to avoid the problems associated with authorisation from the FCA by becoming a member of Funding Falcon, we register you under our licence with the FCA as an IAR (Introducer Appointed Representative) this means you are able to submit finance applications through us without the hassle of gaining authorisation from the FCA, because we already have this. In essence, this means you can be set up and offering finance within days not months, and it also means you have no additional admin or paperwork, as it's all handled our end.
Once you become a member of Funding Falcon, you can access your own online portal. Your online portal is available 24/7 and keeps you in control and informed of all applications and payments. To submit a finance application, simply enter the customer’s details and the amount and term required. Our system then searches our panel of lenders to find the best possible deal for your customer, together with a repayment example and the likelihood of being accepted. If the customer selects a finance option, you submit the required details for the application while he/she is with you. The lender reviews the application and returns a decision within 45 seconds. If accepted, the money is paid into your customer’s bank account, usually within 24 to 48 hours (unless the lender asks for further details). As soon as the funds drop, we inform you by email, you can then contact the customer to arrange payment for your goods or service upfront. If the customer defaults on payments, they deal with the lender, not you.
By offering finance as a payment option, you are opening your doors to the 38.1 million adults currently using credit to purchase regularly!

If accepted, the money is paid into your customer’s bank account, usually within 24 to 48 hours (unless the lender asks for further details). As soon as the funds drop, we inform you by email. You can then contact the customer to arrange payment for your goods or service upfront before the sale of your goods or services. Your customer then pays the lender back in monthly amounts on the agreed term, and if the customer defaults on payment, they deal with the lender, not you.
